I have gambled on countless of rounds of chemin de fer. I started working my way into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have played online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent an abundance of money at 21. The casinos have made it nearly impossible to beat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this method or beat the house, however you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is based on the fact that blackjack appears to be a match of streaks. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the bet back down to the original value.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets extremely exciting sometimes. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very quick. Before you know it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Venetian a few years back with $750 after 45 mins using this tactic! And a couple of months ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can lose a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be aghast at the streaks you notice playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a $5 game.
Wager $5
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the original five dollar wager
Wager $5
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the first $10 wager
Wager ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Bet 20 dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the initial 20 dollar bet
Wager $20
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Bet $40
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first forty dollar wager
Wager $40
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total wager of $80
Bet 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the initial eighty dollar wager
Wager $80
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Wager $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $160 wager
If you departed at this moment you would be up 3 hundred and 15 dollars !!
It is iffy to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
