I have gambled on millions of rounds of twenty-one. I started working my way into the casinos when I was 16. I have played online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost a lot of cash at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it nearly impossible to defeat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over the years I have gambled on a type of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get rich with this method or beat the house, still you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is founded on the idea that blackjack seems to be a match of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy 21. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the action back down to the original amount.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets extremely fun on occasion. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Palms a few years ago with $750 after 30 minutes using this technique! And a couple of months ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You need to comprehend that you can relinquish a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the streaks you notice gamble this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar game.
Wager five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $5 wager
Wager $5
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Bet 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first ten dollar wager
Wager $10
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Bet 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the first 20 dollar wager
Bet $20
Leave $20 paid to you for a total wager of $40
Bet 40 dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the original forty dollar wager
Bet $40
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Bet eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 80 dollar bet
Bet eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the initial one hundred and sixty dollar wager
If you left at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
